Planning a stop here in few weeks. Website says that of Aug 2022 there is still a face mask requirement. Can anyone confirm if this policy is still in place and if its being enforced?

Was their end of Sept 2022. Large sign at entrance said masks were required but at the site, almost no one had a mask on and it was definitely not enforced.
From the map, it looks like there may be a road/trail that loops the monument. 1) is that correct? 2) if yes, are there signs where each state starts? 3) is the road open before/after the monument or same time as the monument?

To my knowledge, there is no public road that loops the monument. Remember that this is on Navajo land… the general public is not permitted to travel some roads. The road is …
To my knowledge, there is no public road that loops the monument. Remember that this is on Navajo land… the general public is not permitted to travel some roads. The road is open when the monument is open. At the monument, each state is clearly marked.
