巴斯是英国英格兰西南区域萨默塞特郡巴斯和东北萨默塞特区的一座城市，位于伦敦以西156千米，布里斯托尔东南21千米，2021年人口普查时人口为94,092，较2001年人口增加了9900人。1590年，巴斯获得伊丽莎白女王一世颁发的皇家特许证而成为市级行政单位，1889年，它从萨默塞特郡中脱离出来，成为一个自治市，获得独立的行政管理权。1974年埃文郡成立，它被划归其中。1996年埃文郡废除后，巴斯和东北萨默塞特单一管理区成立，巴斯市成为该区的行政中心。
