The kit will be mailed to you with the swabs to take the samples yourself. The kit includes directions and a return envelope and mailing label. The cost for this test is $225. This test is for peace of mind or your own knowledge. The results from this test are not admissible in court. Second, the Two-Person Legal Test. This test is performed by a technician on each the child and the alleged father in the lab ($339 total) or in your home (extra $75 per person). This test requires a birth certificate, hospital bracelet, shot record - anything with the child's name and date of birth as a form of identification and a form of identification for the alleged father. The procedure includes a fingerprint, photo, and buchel swab sample, all done by the technician. These results are admissible in court.
