Dr Zaman joined Houston Eye Associates to provide general eye care and additional services in the sub-specialties of glaucoma, cataract, and refractive (LASIK) surgery. Originally from Atchison, Kansas, he consistently earned academic honors in high school, college, and medical school. He was valedictorian of his high school, graduated with honors while obtaining his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha while attending medical school at the same university. After earning his medical school degree, Dr Zaman performed an internship in internal medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
