Great place to visit if you like history. Visiting the Wade House, along with the museum and blacksmith,sawmill tours. Be sure to allow time to see everything. Miller256的完整评论

The staff at our hotel in Sheboygan recommended we visit the Wade House Historic Site. This is a complex of several buildings centered around a coaching inn from the 1800’s. This is very well done.… Bryce S的完整评论

How much time would you allow yourself to tour this site?

To tour the Wade House, the Blacksmith Shop, the Sawmill and the Museum plan about 3.5 hours. Bring food or check the hours of the Butternut Cafe when you're going.

On our visit they running two different wagons. The one was fabric covered like you would picture crossing the plains. The second was a wood sided wagon with windows that would have been used for transporting passengers. I believe they may rotate what wagons are in use, but am not sure if an actual stagecoach is used. There is a display stagecoach in the immediate entry area of the museum you can sit in and take pictures.
