A member of the department of pediatric and adolescent medicine at Scripps Clinic, Lynne Scannell, MD, has been practicing pediatrics since 1988. She has practiced both as a primary care physician and in the urgent care and emergency room setting. Dr. Scannell provides comprehensive primary care for children of all ages with a special interest in promoting the importance of good nutrition, exercise, healthy family relationships, and safety. She also enjoys providing care for injured or acutely ill children, as well as assisting in the management of care for chronically ill patients. Prior to receiving her medical degree, Dr. Scannell received her undergraduate degree in zoology from the University of California, Davis.
