Museum far too expensive (don't waste your money) and lacking in displays/information. One can see everything from the cafe. Visited many wonderful museums in NZ and this would have been the worst. Gary F的完整评论

It's not something you should book until you get there due to weather. We always book the stargazing tour once we have arrived in the village and know what the weather is going …

Tekapo and Mt Cook Village are the best places for stargazing. With Mount John just outside Tekao being world renowned for star gazing as it has an observatory.
