Yes. You can easily break a Douglas to Ramsey journey at Laxey and travel up to the top of Snaefell. However, this depends on which timetable is running. Some give more …

We paid £16 each The ticket took us to Laxey on the train from Douglas. We changed at Laxey onto the Snaefell Railway and after a roam on the mountain we took the train back Laxey and then on to Douglas. We then used it to take the horse drawn tram on the 4 mile tip along the prom. Good value we thought.

Looking at this years timetables it appears that the steam railway was open half term but the electric and mountain railways were not. Lots of info is on the gov.im website
