Very fortunate that our hotel only about 200 metres from the Palazzo. Great experience, very enjoyable. Loved the setting and moving rooms between acts and nice to receive complimentary Prosecco in… L H的完整评论

We had never been to an opera and I figured if we were gonna go, it was going to be in Italy. Musica a Palazzo was wonderful about emailing with us to set up the reservation and letting us know what … Jill T的完整评论
Me and my wife are not opera fans but like to attend cultural events. We would like to attend the musica a palazzo in Venice in March 2019 and would like to know which is the best seating during the three acts. If I am seated in front during the 1st act, does this mean that I will probably be seated at the back during the 2nd act and the 3rd act. Is it best to be seated somewhere in the middle to get the best view during the 3 acts? Also, which time do you think is best, to have a drink, during the 1st or 2nd interval? My last question is I have a chance to either see La Traviata or Rigoletto. Which one do you recommend? As I said, we have never been to an opera, but we like good music. Which one of these operas has the best music?

Hello there! My husband and I are not opera fans either, this was our first one. The seats are limited so wherever you sit you will see and hear everything! It is so intimate - I loved it! We had a glass of Prosecco at the first interval. The seating is spread out all over each room so you will be happy with your seating each time. Enen if you are at the back for the 1st act, you can easily see and hear it all and then after the interval, make you way to the front in the next roomBut the actors/sibgers/misicians move about too. Do not stress over seating as it really is not an issue.I do not speak a word of Italien but read up on the story of La Traviata beforehand. I was so moved by the acting and singing+music that I was literally in tears at the end.You will love it! Enjoy!
Yes, I believe some of the rooms are air conditioned, not freezing cold, like the US, but comfortable. We were last there on a warm June night and it was cool.
