Minimum : 3 hours . Bare bare min but that means you take the 8:30am direct boat (No touring) and take shortest paths and time yourself for return. We did the tour of the island, took longest paths to explore, had pic nic. We left on the 9am boat and were on the 3 pm back. Worth it.

There was damage to the wharf this winter so they haven't confirmed when repairs will be done, so you will have to ask the company for details about your departure when you buy your tickets.
