The Regent's Park, located in the heart of the city, stands as a testament to nature's splendour and human creativity. Wander through and be captivated by its diverse plant life, picturesque gardens, and family-friendly playgrounds. Venture into Queen Mary’s Gardens and be greeted by an array of roses, including newly introduced varieties. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot winter redwings in St. John’s Lodge Garden or marvel at the delicate marbled white butterfly in the Community Wildlife Garden. The Holme Green bandstand, nestled between the serene boating lake and the Inner Circle, hosts various performances. The Regent's Park is managed by The Royal Parks, headquartered at The Old Police House in the iconic Hyde Park.

I took the tube to Baker St and walked up the road past Sherlock Holmes’ house. The entrance to Regent’s Park is at the top. The lake is the first thing you see. Lots of birds. I saw Egyptian geese … Shirley E的完整评论
