The Shakespeare Festival in Stratford is great entertainment at reasonable prices in fabulous old theatres. Only drawback is getting there. Roads do not have good signage that include Hwy #s. Nancy P的完整评论

Lots of people bring a picnic lunch. The grounds are perfect for this! You can find shade or sun and beautiful gardens. You will have a great picnic! Enjoy!

Absolutely. Stratford has a vibrant shopping and dining scene along with many special events in the summer such as craft and arts shows in the park by the river (check the town’s website for a list of free events). There are boat tours as well as boats and bikes to rent by the day, the Shakespeare Gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit, and just on the outskirts of town is an antique market. If you like an authentic English Tea, drive out to the hamlet of Shakespeare, just 5-6 minutes away and go to Harry Ten Shillings. Home made scones, soups, salads and delicious teas make it worth a stop.
