丹吉尔，又译坦几亚，是北非国家摩洛哥北部的一个滨海城市，西临大西洋，北与西班牙隔直布罗陀海峡相望。丹吉尔-得土安-胡塞马大区与丹吉尔-艾西拉省均以丹吉尔为首府。 迦太基时期，迦太基人曾使用tng、tngʾ、tyngʾ、ttgʾ等多个称呼记录这座城市，被转写为坦加、廷加、提加等称呼。而柏柏尔人则称此地为廷吉，可能为古柏柏尔语的“沼泽”。希腊人一般称此地为提吉斯或提加，认为此地是以希腊神话中的泰坦神族阿特拉斯之女Tinjis为名。罗马人则常用廷吉斯，并演化为葡萄牙语中的Tânger、西班牙语中的Tánger、法语中的Tanger、英语中的Tangier和Tangiers。
