I wanted to know if the stairs are available to the public to walk on and take pictures. Or do you have to book a tour to do this? Thanks

Hi, Do you mean stairs with the statue of the famous dancer Alicia Alonsor? Yes, the tour guide took us up the stairs to view the grand ballrooms that they hire out for functions. The ballroom is nice, with large marble columns and very big. We also saw the actual performance theatre, which was not as grand as some of the other theatres we have visited. Our tour guide was very nice and offered to take pictures of us during the tour. There is a nice cafe just to the left of the main entrance. They had salsa dance performance when we were there. It is definitely worth a visit.
