Hi, I’m a permanent wheelchair user from having Spina Bifida. I am very excited to be coming on your bear watching tour in October but I am unsure whether I am required to book a ticket for my carer or whether you would regard her as ‘part of the package’ in conjunction to myself. I would be very leary at this time of year to be on a boat in the open waters. It will be very cold and could be very rough. We went on the outside passage to get there, and on the inside passage to get back to Tofino. It's about a 1.5-2 hour trip to the hotsprings. Then a 45 minute walk to the springs once you get off the boat. They may not even operate at this time of year either. I would call ahead and check with them first. We had a very enjoyable time on this trip, but we did this at the end of June last year. Weather was beautiful and hot.
