In high season May->Oct dog sonly allowed at the Sandymere end of the beach that is about 2/3 mile along from the shops. To access the beach you either need to take car into the Burroughs country park ( pay a fee) or walk along the land side of the pebble ridge. The beach is tidal and does not exist from 2 hours before and after high tide. However the country park is right next to beach which is good for dogs ( on leads when sheep/horses around please )
