Residents in Washington County spoke up at the commissioners' meeting Thursday asking for county controller April Sloane to be removed from her position in light of animal cruelty charges.

WASHINGTON, PA — Washington County Controller April Sloane was jailed Wednesday for violating terms of her bail after a cat was found living in her boyfriend's apartment where she currently resides.
