Katherin McInnis’ Children of Lir combines an Irish tale of children set adrift as swans and the tragic poisoning of water in Flint and other American communities.

Allihies is perhaps best known for the Irish mythical story of the Children of Lir. According to the myth, the children belonged to Lir, a member of the Tuath de Danaan clan in ancient Ireland.
