This is the most economical engine in the Caddy line-up, but it’s also the slowest. We haven’t driven it yet.

The 120bhp 2.0-litre diesel is a little grumbly but has lots of low-down shove that makes accelerating up to the speed limit easy. It won’t be a ball of fire though, with a 0-62mph time of 11.8sec.
