CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - The grandson of a beloved deacon was in court Friday to answer to charges that he killed him. Joshua Nareau is charged in the Dec. 28 homicide of his grandfather James.

According to his attorney, Joshua Nareau accepted a deal in court Monday to 246 months in prison for Second Degree Murder. As part of the deal he cannot contest the plea at a later date.
