A section of the M1, between junctions five and six near Watford, was closed on Monday following the discovery of the body.

The M1 had since reopened, South Yorkshire Police said. Officers were called at about 12:15 GMT after being contacted about a man damaging a property and vehicle on Ballfield Lane in Kexbrough.
