Puerto Rico’s capital, San Juan, offers so much history and excitement ... traverse the island to its more relaxed west coast, where beautiful scenery, charming cities and fantastic food await.

I don’t think that’s reason to not travel to Puerto Rico, but do it with these kinds of ethical questions in mind. I happened to be in San Juan during an islandwide blackout in April.
