Longevity spinach is a perennial in USDA Zones 9-11 and grown as an annual in climates with chilly winters. It lends itself to container-growing and can be grown indoors during the winter.
For containers, fill them with nutrient-rich potting mix. Plant the spinach seeds directly into the soil or container. Space the seeds about 1 inch apart, planting them at a depth of 1/2 inch.
