2024年7月30日 · Howdy, these hats were US Army hats, worn by the Union army in the war. The terms "Jefferson Davis hat" or "Hardee hat" are modern slang terms by collectors etc. for US Army regulation hats of the 1850s-1870s, and aren't specifically related to the Confederacy.

2024年5月9日 · During the beginning of the war, some confederates wore blue (same can be said that come Yankees wore grey at bull run). Some wore malitia uniforms that ranged in differences (same can be said for the Yankees), even ones based off of napoleonic hussars, and revolutionary war uniforms.
