2005年8月14日 · Lately, I've be re-experimenting with different things to attach my snare wires to my drums. I was a staunch user of Joe Montineri Snare Wire for many years. (the thin blue coated wire stuff) It's a bit of a job installing it, but once perfected, it tends to NEVER need attention!

2010年7月16日 · It would be like taking the snare on most snare drums and increasing the wire count from 20 to 33. The drum dried out a little, but the snare sound became more full and much "smoother". It made that drum much easier to live with. In an interesting side note, the Tama had always come off as rather cold and "impersonal". It had no "character".
