They are rather simple arcade games, but they aren't doing anything wrong really. Aside from the whole ye olde control scheme where the arrows keys are for movement.

My son is almost 5 years old, obsessed with Minecraft (and actually incredibly good at it despite his age), but I am interested in hearing about educational games for kids that you guys might be familiar with. I'm wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for games she might enjoy on the Steam Link, bonus points if they can be played with a parent. I've been looking at Ori and The Blind Forest, or maybe Stardew Valley. I'll mention that she dislikes violent or scary games.

I let my daughter use the steam deck under her account. We have found quite a few games that are coop that we like. Some games even allow local co-op plus the online player(s). I grab multiple copies for us when they get a good sale or are in a bundle. I also put my extra game keys on my kids accounts. Curious to find out if stumble on more.

The best example I know of and use often is Metamorphabet. It requires little hand eye coordination, is lightly educational, bright and colorful, and only cost me $3.

2023年10月27日 · On Steam obvs. Took the steam deck around to grandparents house and had the kids and their cousins playing Castle Crashers which was good, but fired up Shredder's Revenge and it was even better as all 6 of them could play together. Next time will try Vampire Survivors Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed BAFL: Brakes Are For Losers (8 players!)
