Our CPD programme for teachers is developed in direct response to requests from educationalists and includes workshops and training on Artsmark, sessions focusing on cultural innovation in the classroom – including new approaches to creative writing (teaching creative writing through drama), as well as specific art-form CPD and Arts Award ...
Connections – The Forge
Connections is the simplest way for schools to engage with Forge artists. If you have a project in mind already, we can help you find the right artist to deliver it in school, or we can work with you from the start to build a new programme or residency from scratch.
Artsmark – The Forge
Artsmark is Arts Council England’s prestigious national award that recognises schools’ and colleges’ achievements in the arts. It is delivered in the North East by The Forge in partnership with Culture Bridge North East. Artsmark gives you the tools, contacts and resources you need to support ambitious improvement.
