I think the closest MX-style switches to Topre switches in terms of sound would be silenced ones. The rubber damping pads cut a lot of the sharper 'clack' sound out from keypresses, leaving you with a deeper and duller sound which is closer to the 'thock' of Topre.

There are a lot of factors that contribute to the thock sound. Gat inks V2s (black) are definitly the best switch for achieving this and probably with a plastic switchplate like PC/Acrylic/POM.

2023年10月19日 · Thonk is still basically a baby, he also has a larger comb and wattle than his sister counterpart at their age. Plus, he appears Birchen based. Birchen hens only get color around their neck and chest commonly, similar to how his sister Bonk looks. The saddle area tends to me a male only color area.

double-thonk In the study, ac262 was more suppressive than it was anabolic. That makes me think the dosages we're taking are too small to do anything, and if we took a truly efficacious dose it would be just as suppressive as any other SARM.

After having tried a lot of tactile switches for my next build, I've gotten the best thock from Gateron Ink Blacks lubed with Krytox 205 Grade 0 and switch filmed (these are linear switches).

SA is a keycap profile while PBT is a type of plastic. I’d say roughly 99% of SA keycaps out right now are ABS plastic, the good ones having a thicker wall and being “double shot” meaning the letter/legend is molded with the first shot of plastic and then the rest of the keycap is molded with a second shot of plastic around the letter/legend.
