Wasteland, Fallout, Fallout 2, Wasteland 2, and Wasteland 3 all have heritage in top-down, isometric RPGs, and the post-apocalyptic vibe. The original Baldur's Gate games have similar heritage in that respect, and are classics for good reason, though I think Planescape: Torment might edge out the second Baldur's Gate for me.
