FTP site opening perfectly in Browser. I also tried View> Open FTP in File Explorer. But nothing happened after clicking that link option.

If you do not want the FTP site to open after you're done setting up the shortcut, clear the Open this network location when I click Finish check box. Click Finish. A shortcut to the FTP site appears in the Computer folder.

I went through the "Add Network Location" wizard to add a link to it on my "This PC" page on Windows Explorer. I also found the steps to take for that on this page.

2018年5月29日 · I have recently upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. The ftp used to work just fine on windows 7, but after the upgrade it has stopped working. On browsers, it loads just fine but on windows explorer, nothing. Is it because I disabled some 'services' to make my machine faster? Side note: ftp is already enabled on 'internet options.'

I am opening an FTP folder in Windows Explorer. When I click and drag a file to try to move it to a sub-folder, it doesn't move; the pointer is a no-entry sign. Copy and paste also doesn't work (paste option is grayed out). How do I move files within an FTP folder? Thanks.

2016年3月17日 · I am able to connect to my host's server through FTP using Windows File Explorer. I can see all the files and folders fine. I can drag and drop files from my desktop onto the server. I can create folders on the server directly through File Explorer. What I cannot do is move files or folders around within File Explorer once they are loaded.

2015年8月5日 · I can use the server too, it's just that I need to use a sideloaded app called "FileZilla FTP Client". The problem that I ran into is that I wanted to connect to our FTP server using Windows 10's built-in file explorer by adding a network location instead of having to launch filezilla every time I want to access my data.

2017年11月15日 · I am experiencing the same issue after installing update Windows 10 Version 1709 (WIN10PRO). I installed this on December 8, 2017 and was editing a website that I had daily FTP access to via Dreamweaver 2018, Internet Explorer 11, Windows File Explorer and FileZilla.
