We have a new (additional) User Interface for MIT App Inventor. More. MIT RAISE's Day of AI curriculum empowers K-12 students to collaborate on local and global challenges using AI. Day of AI invites students to examine the intersection of AI and various disciplines, such as history, civics, computer science, math, and climate change.

Beginner Tutorials: Jump in and get started programming in App Inventor. Sharing and Remixing Apps: Share your app code with friends to load in App Inventor and remix. Building and Installing Apps: Build your app for installing on a phone or tablet (Android only, for now)
Step 1: Starting App Inventor 2 for the First Time
Set up either an Android device or the Android emulator so that App Inventor can connect to it and show your app "live" while you build it.

Setting up App Inventor
On your phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store and find and install the MIT AI2 Companion app. INSTALLING FROM THE PLAYSTORE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED so you'll get automatic updates. The Companion app is just an Android App that lets you test the apps you build as you're building them.
