Probably the most asked question, but does ram speed really …
2022年2月19日 · With lower RAM speed, CPU usage was higher and there were some minor stutters. I think 3200Mhz CL16 is already a good choice and fast enough for the i5-11400F. However, you might get some performance improvements in CPU intensive games by getting faster RAM so a 3600Mhz CL16 kit wouldn't be a bad choice either. Dual Rank also improves …
Does RAM speed actually matter? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Yes it does matter but only to a point more so if we are talking ryzen processors which are more sensitive to ram speed / timings. Around 3200mhz with good timings is they sweep spot. After than you will still see some gains but it falls of significantly especially if you're not in a …
Do ram speeds really matter? : r/overclocking - Reddit
2023年5月25日 · So if something is memory speed bottlenecked the BEST you can hope for in performance increase is the ratio between the old speed and the new speed. So: old speed 5000 - > new speed 6000 = 20% increase in speed so "20% performance increase" old speed 5800 -> new speed 6000 = 3.5% increase
Does RAM Speed REALLY Matter?? (DDR5 Edition) : r/Amd - Reddit
2023年2月12日 · The best thing for AMD is RAM with tight timings. Intel's ddr5 controller is a little more mature so you can get a "benefit" from the 7000+ speed ddr5. Either way, the performance benefit of really anything over 6400 outside of RAM benchmarks is marginal.
RAM speed in productivity/day-to-day, does it matter? : r/Amd
The rating is just verified to work, but the class of RAM bought by the manufacturer (Corsair, Crucial, G-skill etc) is often the same. Samsung B-die is the "high end" consumer RAM. Often classified as 3200CL14 or 3600CL16 (both 1.35V). Most kits are Hynix RAM and its ratings vary widely (from 2133CL13 1.2v to 4266CL19 1.4V)
Does ram speed matter if you have a large capacity of ram such
2022年3月28日 · The speed matters no matter how much RAM you have, from a 4gb DIMM all the way up to 256gb of ECC ram is affected by the clock speed. Which is why I said in this case the speed is going to be more impactful. Because it simply is more impactful in this case.
Do ram speed matter for Intel CPU? : r/intel - Reddit
I was thinking of getting the I7-10700k and I was wondering do ram speed matter for Intel chips as they do for Ryzen 3000 series. I was looking at DDR4-3600 around 110, but I found a DDR4-3200 for around 75.
Does RAM speeds matter that much? (In my case) : …
If you got 3200 and 2100, they both will run 2100. Simple. If your cpu supports 3200 I would suggest you to but a bundle of 2 3200 sticks, if it’s not that more expensive than 2933. Like I did with 2 16gb sticks 3200 speed HyperX. Additionally, RAM speed and amount is noticeable in games like AC (could be 10-15 fps) and different renders.
Does RAM speed matter to Ryzen for gaming? (now that Ryzen …
2017年6月11日 · RAM frequency determines the speed of the Infinity Fabric link between CCXes, so there is actually a reason for Ryzen chips to benefit more from higher-clocked RAM than Intel's. I did some reading on the subject a month or so ago, and it seemed most of the games tested got a few FPS boost, but some got as much as 12-13 FPS boost!
Does RAM Speed Matter? : r/VideoEditing - Reddit
I would say that you should focus more on Storage speed. Storage speed allows you to move files into RAM faster. Whereas RAM speed is really just how fast its memory is read by the CPU. And the different speeds don't make too much of a difference in performance in editing. Unless you are comparing DDR4 and DDR5 RAM modules
