While as Poof's anti-fairy opposite Foop's "abilities" haven't been fully shown with the exception of good phenomena happening when crying and hiccups lead to nothing. Poof owned a magic rattle-like wand that focuses and controls his magic to a better degree.

Poof's crying is the same as that of Dil Pickles from the fellow Nickelodeon show Rugrats. Both Poof and Dil are voiced by Tara Strong. Poof, Sparky and Chloe are the only main characters to never be seen in a crossover episode. Poof has his name in the title in three episodes which are Planet Poof, Poof's Playdate and He Poofs He Scores.

After Timmy finished reading Poof "The Super Scary Boogie Monster Who Lives Under Your Bed and Will Totally Eat You When It Gets Dark," Poof starts crying, causing a thunderstorm to start in Timmy's room. That's when Timmy remembers bad situations are conjured up from out of nowhere when Poof cries.

While Foop seems to have good intentions at first, as soon as Cosmo and Wanda turn their backs, Foop terrorizes Poof and then cries and blames Poof when his parents return. Only Timmy can warn Cosmo and Wanda of Foop's true intentions, but his pesky parents keep pulling Timmy away before he can speak, and if Poof keeps getting in trouble then ...

When Cosmo, Wanda and Poof return to Timmy’s bedroom when Poof is crying, the castle in the fishbowl disappears, just like in “Odd Squad”. After Cosmo tells Wanda to hold Poof for a second and then poofs away, the fishbowl is replaced by a lamp.

Timmy figures that since Foop is the opposite of Poof, then his crying would make good things happen. Poof ensures this by taking away Foop's bottle from him (he protests "YOU TOOK MY BA-BA?"). His cries then reverse all the damages he had done.

Poof is still crying, and Wanda can't get him to stop. They try everything, but it doesn't work. But at Wishing Well, Timmy, Molly and Dwight are having their own problems.

Are you sure Poof's okay? [Timmy looks out the window and screams. Poof giggles as he walks on the tall framing at a construction site]
