2022年12月8日 · To be objective, they weigh about the same - the YHM is 16 oz with QD mount, the Nomad is 14 with direct thread. swap to direct thread on YHM and you should lose about 2.2 oz. or swap to mounts for the Nomad and you go up as well. 419 stuff will work with either. The Dead Air definitely is a cooler can than a YHM The Resonator is pretty quiet.

2022年4月13日 · I really enjoy the Resonator R2… It is not as high pressure as a Gemtech but it is not as low pressure as a Sandman. I think it sounds better than a Rugged. However. As a civilian that doesn’t own full auto guns…I don’t need an Uber commando can either. The Resonator R2 strikes a great balance between performance-durability-price.

2020年7月28日 · Resonator R2 on the right with a area 419 mount on a 11.5" 5.56, I think it's a good fit for this barrel length. Have only shot it once since getting it last week but I'm quite happy with it, if it was a longer barrel I might consider the K version.

2020年5月13日 · Resonator R2 for the win for me. Its a little heavier/longer but it suppresses well. Adds .30 cal options. It would have been useful to get the Turbo T2 numbers on .556 as well. Last test was, No, Turbo K, Resonator K, Resonator, No Turbo?. But im just nitpickin'. That titanium DT saves a lot of weight!!! Thanks!

2021年12月19日 · I’ve decided on the Nomad L or the YHM Resonator R2 because I want a full size can that will have good suppression (CGS is just too pricey). After looking at a lot of 556 cans, it was hard to beat the Turbo on weight, sound and flash suppression. The only area it lacked in was back pressure. Likewise, the Resonator R2 is pretty damn good.

Looking to pick up my first can. It would be used strictly on my AR platform guns. I would not call them "precision" guns, more just for banging steel at distance. What do you guys think of the YHM Resonator R2? Anyone have one and can share their experience? The price is half of the other...

2021年9月2日 · I have two Resonator K's. I know its not a Resonator but its close. Compared to the Turbo K and Turbo, the Resonators on 5.56 guns have a slightly more "booming" sound to them versus the lower tone of the 5.56 bore diameter. The blowback is significantly less with the .30 cal bore of the resonator and its why I run them on my 5.56 guns.
