2014年8月29日 · Strictly E85 car go 11:1 like stated above. Compression is your friend as I've found over the years. Built quite a few motors over the years and compression is always a win win. Back in 09 when I built my Cobra motor I decided to try the other way around, lower CR and increase boost. I went 8.1:1 and would never do it again.

2020年6月17日 · Car is 2003 svt cobra (terminator) with 2.76 pulley long tube headers etc. It has also soft ware update with sct bama tuner. Tuner gives me also this faul code p0602 and p0148 I have also changed the fuel pressure sensor that sits on the end of the fuel rail. Fuel pressure is measured from the passenger side fuel rail.

2023年1月31日 · The 03 Cobra uses a Tremec T-56 6-Speed transmission. While this is fundamentally the same transmission used the the Viper, C5 Corvette, and F-Body (Camaro/Firebird), the torque specifications and gearing for the Cobra may be different than from these other models (our T-56 is rated to 450 Ft/Lbs of torque).

2023年12月13日 · Figured I'd document the build process of my 03 Cobra #578. This is going to take a while, I'll buy parts as I can but things should start speeding up later in 2024. Current mods: BBK longtube headers, custom O/R x-pipe, and a muffler delete (I know that sounds ghetto but that will be addressed at some point.)

2024年11月21日 · Wouldnt waste money on a stroker kit. Find you a good cobra crank, buy some Molnar rods and get a decent piston. More compression the better 10:5-11 in the range. Best advice is to talk to your engine builder.

2007年8月7日 · plenty of people get >300cfm out of the intake port, and the exhaust port on the 03-up head flows head and shoulders above the fr500 head. the center port divider on the fr500 head is dry too whilst the 03-up head has coolant running through it.

2021年9月12日 · The diff decided to quit today on 03 cobra and not in a nice way.. it broke on a 2nd gear pull sending oil and metal pieces down the road. This is still a IRS car. What are some options for swap, what fits, what's an upgrade etc would like some recommendations so I can start searching to buy a unit.
