2010年11月16日 · My guess is because a digital and analog speedometer would be redundant in the non-M3 E9x. Just a guess, but the redundancy in the M3 is probably a good thing for when you are on the track. A quick peek down at the digital readout could be a split second quicker (and use less brainpower) than having to check the analog display.

2020年2月6日 · From what I***8217;ve read the dealers are NOT AUTHORIZED to make the change. But perhaps BMW is now allowing them to do it. Especially since, as I***8217;m guessing, lots of owners have complained. My feeling is that the lack of an actual exact digital readout is a screw up by BMW.

2013年1月30日 · digital speedometer reverts to km/h from mph I have a 2020 x3, called bmw genius, they are aware of this issue, says my service department should be able to address/fix this, else they should contact the local area tech for assistance. Oddly they refused to share any more details. I took it to my service dept, they were familiar with the issue.

2020年2月6日 · in case you did not know already, there is setting below you can turn on to display a small digital speedometer inside the speed dial. Not as good as the sport display. 2022年8月2日 · I've been successful in adding the Digital speedo and programming it to show true GPS speed. However, the analog speedo and the cruise control still use the "corrected" speed. Under the KOMBI box, BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR and BC_V_KORREKTUR are both set to nicht_aktiv which should disable the correction (works on digital speedo only).
