The "bale" spelling may be more common in the UK (the OED says bail is "Now often less correctly" spelled bale, who's etymology is an "erroneous spelling of bail").

2010年7月18日 · I've got a 2007 Revolution that I've had for three years. After I was done fishing the other night I noticed some water in the hull which I've never had before. After getting home and inspecting the kayak I found a nice crack right underneath the cam lock knob where the mirage drive locks down. You can see the crack pretty good in these pictures.

2020年3月21日 · hobie 16 doesnt have a lot of space under the tank well via the rear so best packing with pool noodles. Keep in mind with the 16 in particular center hatch is close to water level. So even if floating you may not be able to use center hatch to pump out water asit could be below water level, especially if rough condition.

2016年12月7日 · Actually, I used the exhaust of a shop vac, directed at the drain hole from a foot away, but left the inspection port open, with the cover only partially blocking the opening so that it fluttered a bit from the escaping air. Anyone know a better way to control the pressure? I'd rather have to bail out water than blow a hull.
