2009年12月15日 · Another happy Central Boiler 6048 here. I load once a day in the coldest of winter heating about 2400 sf. The only time I think you may need a force draft is if you plan to run year around and burn soft wood. I fired mine up in august and was burning poplar and that wood leaves no coals so I had the fire go out on me a few times.

2017年8月16日 · Central boiler 6048 it is 6 years old. We lost him in Jan and my mother in law fell twice last winter trying to load the stove while he was sick. He took meticulous care of the stove and its in great shape, we just want to get a gas stove so my mother in law doesn't get injured trying to deal with the stove.

By the way, some chemists did a review of the CB anti-corrosion stuff and they found that it was about as good a blend as you can find for protection for mild steel.

2010年6月17日 · The cl-17 is very similar in size to a 50 36 central boiler. I have a 5036 and heat a 1350sqft house, a 24x36 attatched garage and a 26x60 shop with it. In real cold weather I don't get really long burn times, but I think it works well with 2-3 fills daily. Most of the time I check it twice a day anyway, but don't always fill it way up.

2008年10月6日 · I have since swapped that circ out for an Alpha, but the 15-58 was still working fine when I did the swap and it's on the shelf for a spare. I also have a 20 plate HX in the system for DHW. And another 15-58 for my boiler pump. No problems noticed with any of them. I did have the boiler pump stick on me at startup this fall, but not sure why.
