A being as complex and powerful as The Empty Hand made corporeal and stepping on Darkseid? Thats just another silly story. Its not even him, its just a manifestation of a story he is incepting into the universe.

The Source is The Overvoid, The Writer, The Hand, The Voice, God, etc. The Presence is far beyond the Empty Hand. 2022年12月6日 · Throughout Dark Crisis there has been one major elephant in (or rather out of) the room. That elephant being the sudden disappearence of the Empty Hand. The strongest being in the Dark Army has not appeared once in this book, he was last seen way back in Justice League #75. Even as we approach the climax he is no where to be seen.

Morrison states it's meant to be the embodiment of the reader's hand when they put the comic down, and the hand that turns the page. This is why it bears the same markings as Ultra Comics, to show that both are, in turn, aspects of the reader.

2021年9月7日 · From the hand of the creation in Green Lantern to the Empty hand in Multiversity, the dark and the bright hand in Swamp thing, the "black hand" in Blackest Night, the hands in Death Metal... There are a lot of hand messing with the DC universe, literal and metaphorically.

Empty hand - for grabbing/catching ledges and handholds when you drop/fall down a building or do a large jump and need to catch something to stop yourself smashing into the ground. Also for picking up objects/weapons/bodies off the ground, looting, and grabbing people in combat.
