Marion Duff Hanks (October 13, 1921 – August 5, 2011) was a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1953 until his death. Hanks was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. [1] . As a young man he served in the Northern States Mission of the LDS Church, which was headquartered in Chicago.

2023年8月14日 · Marion D. Hanks was one of the youngest General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be called into church service in the latter part of the 20th century. He was called to the First Council of the Seventy (later changed to the First Quorum of the Seventy) on October 4, 1953, at the age of 31.
