Nakki Lake is a lake situated in the Indian hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range. The lake is in length of about a half mile and in width about of a quarter of mile and 2000 to 3000 mt. deep towards the dam on the west. It is an important tourist attraction of Mount Abu. There is the Toad Rock on a hill near the lake.

It is the first man-made lake in India with a depth of around 11,000 metres and a width of a quarter of a mile. Located in the centre of the hill station, the fascinating lake is surrounded by lush greenery, mountains and strangely shaped rocks.

Nakki lake is located in the center of Mount Abu. It is the main tourist attraction of Mount Abu. We visited the lake in the evening and found the place crowded and vibrant. However, we could not enjoy much due to continuous rain. The lake is reasonably big, boating facility is available.

Nakki Lake Mount Abu is the highest lake in Rajasthan. Which is located at an altitude of about 1200 meters above sea level. Nakki Lake Mount Abu often freezes in winter. A Hindu deity is said to have dug with his nails and built Nakki Lake. That is why it is known as Nakki (Nakh or Nail).
