2023年12月1日 · With children's shows, every time the scene changes, kids get a tiny little bit of enjoyment (dopamine). Cocomelon changes screens relentlessly. Watch as it goes. It's like the camera view is constantly changing. That's how it gets them. That's why they cry bloody murder when you turn it off. That's why I'm anti-cocomelon.

Try replacing watching Cocomelon with just playing the music or similar songs. You can slowly ween her off with the music and then gradually switch it to something else. 2022年11月27日 · Masha and cocomelon are now banned in our house 😂 cocomelon is just obnoxious and super overstimulating. Masha is such a bad role model for kids to be watching. My son was obsessed for a little bit and I had to stop letting him watch lol.

I personally don’t like cocomelon either but there’s a risk of spreading potential misinformation and making parents who rely on some cocomelon to get through the day (2 years into a global pandemic) feel really shitty. When my daughter was 2-2.5 she only wanted to watch songs on tv, and couldn’t follow complex storylines.

2023年6月9日 · What might validate your choice: my wife works RECE, and she had a lot of behavioural cases that all shared one thing in common -- they all loved Cocomelon. My wife suggested they stop watching Cocomelon at home, and maybe use Blue's Clues, the Wiggles, or other more edutainment style shows.
