I've watched some axe videos on YouTube and browsed various websites and learned old axes are actually better than the new stuff at the big box stores and are collectible. I still had the axe so I took a closer look to see what it was. Looking real hard through the rust and dirt I was able to make out it's a Winchester.

2004年11月20日 · It's pretty difficult. If you're really lucky, someone who's very familiar can recognize an axe by a few, little details. For instance, eye ridges usually (but apparently not always) indicate True Temper. If the eye looks like three drilled holes, it's a Marbles. Post pictures, expect nothing, and you just might get lucky.

There is a Kelly TT cruiser which is the smaller eye/head that I don't think I can link because it is an active auction that is marked 2^2 - weight is given as 2 pounds 9.8 ounces.

2001年5月6日 · Still, I'd like to find a "pristine" condition HUDSON BAY Axe. I recently found a nice condition S&N Hudson Bay Axe Head. This past weekend, I found a very nice condition PLUMB single bit, a WINCHESTER Axe Head and, the (aforementioned) SWEDEN Axe Head. Oooh yea, I also found another "mystery" Axe Head.
