The US Army 'fat camp' helping would-be recruits lose weight
2023年5月20日 · The Army likes to talk about holistic health and fitness and has some cool ideas on the higher levels, but until garrison level commands truly make it a priority we'll muddle along in the old Army tradition of doing a mediocre job with less.
Army Fat Camp : r/army - Reddit
2022年8月14日 · So my recruiter told me I can go to the Army Fat Farm. I haven't enlisted yet and I'm currently 206 at 5'8. I've lost like 50ish pounds on my own but struggle to lose this last bit. I'm like 28% I believe, 40 at the waist and 14.5 at the neck. Should I try to lose the weight on my own or would the Fat Camp be good for preparing me for BCT?

Fat Camp : r/nationalguard - Reddit
Fat camp is designed for losing like +/- 10 pounds not 65. If you dont have 1 to 2 months you need to postpone your ship date. Heres why: basic training is an environment where there are no protections and you have no rights.
FTU ("Fat Camp") Questions and Concerns : r/army - Reddit
2013年12月24日 · Somewhat out of shape S.I.T. here with a few questions about the Army's Fitness Training Unit. My particular stake in the FTU is that I am being sent there after Christmas Exodus to improve my run time after failing my EOC BCT APFT at Ft. Jackson before Christmas Exodus by a meager 35 seconds due to an upper respiratory infection I caught from ...
Need to know what fat camp is like : r/nationalguard - Reddit
2022年12月16日 · If you exceed that weight you get taped. There is a magic ratio between your waist and neck that is allowed. If you aren't within this golden parameter you just failed tape and get flagged for being "fat". The Army had fat camp for recruits who couldn't meet physical training requirements during basic or recruits who got injured but could recover.
Air Force BMT Fat Camp : r/AirForceRecruits - Reddit
2022年3月16日 · There is no “fat camp” in Air Force BMT. Here is what can happen: In the first week of training, you will do the PT test to see where you are at. I think if you are ridiculously bad, they may just start out processing you immediately, but like you have to be really really out of shape because i believe the standards here are lenient.
