I login with my digital ID. Your access that way takes maybe 3-4 days to arrive in the mail. I applied for both my ID code and EI code the same day, got the ID code 3 days later and my EI access code the next week at the height of the covid lag (by the time I got my paper code I had learned I could get it online)

Here's how to get the access code online (you need my CRA account ): Log into My CRA Account. Scroll down the main page and right of where it says, 'RRSP and TFSA', you should see 'My service Canada account with 'access now' link account.

2020年10月19日 · I went to the nearest Service Canada Centre and the staff told me the rules changed, the 4-digit access code is used to EI online reporting ONLY, I need a 7-digit personal access code(PAC) to sign up MSCA, the staff issued the PAC to me in the office, remember to carry your SIN number and ID.

(no need to call anyone, no need for any appointments) second step, upon getting the code, do the "Online EI reporting", just search this on google. third step, open the My Service Canada account page, click on "Login through Banks".

2020年9月26日 · Just called EI with the number ending 7218, he did my bi-weekly report and sent it to processing department with a note that my Access Code does not work. He said that I will get an email within the next few days or next week with a temporary access code in it along with instructions how to reset the code.
