2014年8月26日 · It was kinda embarassing, so I investigated about that, and deleted a user.bmp found on "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures". The pic dissappeared, however, now I am unable to change the picture, and instead of showing an image, it now appears an empty, blank space.

2022年8月25日 · Clean installed Windows 10 and set it up with my Microsoft account and everything was good except my profile picture of my Microsoft account wasn't showing at all inside Windows. Windows apps (e.g. Feedback Hub, One Drive, Microsoft Store) show my profile picture, but Windows(Settings, Lock screen, Start Menu) doesn't.

Surely one could just have a default silhouette, but on long list pages where most users do not have profile pictures this becomes a waste of space.
