My HP internal drive never worked and had to purchase an external drive to watch videos, but now it won't work to watch a DVD. I am ready to kidnap my mac from work so that I can watch a movie.

The device whirs for a bit, but nothing shows on the computer screen (other than the little blue circle) and I don't hear anything (yes, the speakers are on).

2022年12月14日 · Bad usb hub. Connected external SSD directly to usb, voila! My seagate external drive does not show in windows 11. On my other laptop (windows 10) it is functioning o.k. The usb hub port is working o.k. with other devices. I do want to use the above mentioned external drive on this laptop under windows 11!!! Any functioning advice???
