In addition, in 2023, Ford Otosan Craiova plant has started to manufacture Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier, both with full-electric versions scheduled to enter production from 2024. Also, Craiova plant will build a full-electric Puma from 2024.

We aim to bring the first fully electric Ford E-Transit together with our customers in Turkey in parallel with Europe in 2022. The Gölcük plant, with a capacity of producing 160,000 units of Transit annually, is the lead manufacturing center of Ford Transit.

In 1965, the D1210 truck was added to production, and in 1966, the Anadol, the first mass-production passenger vehicle developed in Turkey. In 1967, the Ford Transit also began production and in 1973, the Anadol STC-16, the first sports car developed in Turkey.

Ford Otosan is Turkey’s largest commercial vehicle production company with the capability to produce 746,500 units annually. Our Kocaeli Plants, with a total production capacity of 474,500 units, boast the largest commercial vehicle production capacity in Europe.

2023年11月7日 · The Ford Otosan joint venture has inaugurated its extensively modernised Yeniköy plant in Turkey. The latest generation of the Ford Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom is rolling off the production line there. The electric versions will launch next year.

2024年5月8日 · The bulk of production will be the popular Ford Transit, with all models now built in Turkey. Most of the design, research and development for the Transit still takes place at the Ford Pro headquarters in Dunton in the UK, but Turkey has taken over as the production hub.
