2024年12月15日 · Only 1 problem is with firmware 18.16: if connect HRM pro plus to Fenix7 18.16, after finished the activity, the HR will be inceased abnormal about 1 minutes before comeback to normal. I informed to Garmin support, and they admitted this is problem, will be fixed about january 2025.

I did pairing of new Fenix 6 Pro and the old HRM Premium strap. It looks fine. But when I start an activity, I'm not really sure that the external HRM monitor is used - in my old Forerunner 220, there was a confirmation message that the HRM has been connected.

That's true for the standalone HRM. As long as it is connected to a Garmin device, and an activity is started, Garmin Connect does show the HR from the strap live. And as for the standalone strap with no other Garmin device to connect to it, if you want to stay with Garmin's software, you can use for example the Tacx app (phone, PC, or Mac).

Having the same problem. The HRM DUAL has been a great device for a few years and batteries would last 12 or more months with regular use. Now in the past three months, batteries last 4-6 weeks. Is there a way to access the device to ensure its going to sleep?

I'm also having frequent issues with my HRM Pro Plus connected to a forerunner 945lte and Garmin is shipping a replacement now. It worked great for 6 months being used twice/wk and has been unreliable the last 6 wks providing poor heart data I changed battery, resynced to watch and tried the reverse polarity battery trick and it didn't help.

for some reason the HRM Dual does not really connect to my Fenix 7x on a reliable basis. Sometimes it does what its supposed to do: when starting an activity, there is a message on the watch, that an external HR is connected. And the optical sensor turns off.

2024年11月27日 · Hi! I just got the HRM-Fit, and I absolutely cannot open the battery casing. I tried using the screwdrivers I had at home, no dice. I used coins, and nope. I took it to the local Home Depot and got a bunch of employees to try every type of screwdriver they had, nothing.

I'm primarily a cyclist and use an Edge 1040 with a Garmin HRM-Dual and Vector 3 pedals for most of my workouts/rides. I use my watch (a new 965) primarily as a daily wearable, and for non-cycling activities (hikes, snowshoeing, etc.). I've paired my external HRM to the watch so it records a more accurate reading during cycling activities.

After two years using the HRM-Run, bought mid 2019, and a single battery change, my HRM began a weird behavior. It started with miss reading the HR and then after a month died. As I wouldn't loss activity precision, decided to buy a clip in model and got a HRM-Dual in October 2021 wondering it wasn't going to have same fate.

There appears to be no way to update the HRM-Dual firmware if the connection is by Bluetooth. If the HRM-Dual is only used with a non-Garmin device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) then it will not see the update. I was prompted to update my HRM-Dual when it …
