Our gardens are open year round(except Christmas and New Year) at the following times: April – Sept: 9am-9:30pm (the Stone Arch Gate that takes you to the glasshouses and Visitor Centre Centre will close at 5:45pm.)

The History of Hall Place and Gardens
The gardens at Hall Place were first opened to the public in 1952 by HRH The Duchess of Kent and the famous topiary at Hall Place, the Queen’s Beasts, were planted in 1953 in celebration of the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The Gardens at Hall Place
The Gardens – open free of charge all year round – are set within a 65 hectare estate offering some outstanding examples of horticulture and wildlife. Whatever the season, there is always a spectacular show on in the award-winning gardens so watch out for squirrels, wagtails, geese, exotic ring-necked parakeets and even the resident kingfisher.
